Something Went Wrong Facebook
Facebook went offline for many users on Thursday, with the world's most popular social network telling individuals that "something failed".
When checking out Facebook.com, as opposed to seeing the regular homescreen or news feed, users were welcomed with a blank display and a brief error message.
" Sorry, something went wrong. We're dealing with it as well as we'll get it dealt with as soon as we can," the message reads.
The blackout began at around 5.30 pm BST however, for many customers, appeared to have been resolved around 20 mins after.
Down Detector, which collects records of popular solutions being down, showed outages in the UK, Europe and the US.
Of course, people took to Twitter to have their say.
The website decreased on Thursday afternoon and brief-ly appeared to function again for some customers.
A representative for Facebook has said they are checking out what took place.
At The Same Time, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook president, went to an occasion placed on by Oculus, the virtual reality headset company Facebook has.
